Our Sunflower Oil is made from seeds sourced entirely from our Italian and Marche-based supply chain. It is mechanically cold-pressed; we chose not to deodorize it, preferring a less invasive process that preserves its nutritional properties while also softening the organoleptic characteristics of the seeds and making the sunflower flavor more delicate. The resulting oil has a pleasant sunflower seed aroma, enjoyable both to the nose and the palate. • It is rich in vitamin E, with a content of 40.5 mg per 100 ml. • It is ideal for seasoning and frying, thanks to its high smoke point (over 225°C). Tips for use: It is suitable for both sweet and savory baked preparations. For those who do not particularly enjoy the taste and aroma of sunflower seeds, it can always be softened by mixing it in equal parts with extra virgin olive oil or butter. Used raw, it pairs well with foods that have a strong flavor, such as fresh or sun-dried tomatoes, various toasted seeds, and aromatic herbs.

Our Organic High-Oleic Sunflower Oil completes our range linked to crop rotation practices, supporting the supply chain built with farmer members not only during wheat-growing years but also during years dedicated to legumes or sunflowers, a hallmark of the Marche region.<br>Sunflowers are a functional renewal crop; after cereal cultivation, fields are rotated with improving crops such as alfalfa and legumes or renewal crops like flax or sunflowers themselves.<br>Our Oil is rich in vitamin E, an antioxidant that protects cell membranes from the action of free radicals. It is high oleic, meaning it has a fatty acid profile similar to extra virgin olive oil due to its oleic acid content (82%), a monounsaturated fat. This makes it more resistant to high temperatures.
